Home Visits

If you are able to get to the Surgery or have someone to bring you, you will generally be seen sooner.  However, if you are too ill to travel or are housebound and require a home visit, please telephone the Surgery and explain this to the Reception staff ideally before 10.30am.  It will also be very useful if you explain what your symptoms are and the reason for the home visit request.  The GP on duty will call you back on the telephone for further discussion and arrangements as necessary.

Please note that the NHS has decided that it is the doctor who should decide where a consultation should occur and not the patient.  On occasion, this may mean that once the doctor has spoken to you they will ask you to attend the Surgery.
